Never have I experienced electricity blackout for several days. A couple of weeks ago, a storm slapped Bicolandia on its face hard, real hard. Flights were cancelled, boats at a domestic ship port drowned in the seas tempestuous waves, and trees fell dead on highways across Region V.
Nevertheless, it was a bit oblivious from colleagues at the headquarters in Alabang, Muntinlupa City the disaster that hit my place. I had to sent reports via email, fax, and phone but to no avail. All technology has been shut off.
Thank goodness that was last week.

My place is currently getting an aesthetic overhaul.
It is hightime that my barren living room be made up. I have neither had a decent sofa nor coffee tables for visitors. Nothing to sit on, nothing interesting to amuse, nothing to appeal. It is all nothing.
Thus yesterday, I bought a two-and-a-half meter upholstery cloth from Metro Gaisano to serve as a mat. I also threw in several throw pillows [pun intended]. Got a small clean crate from Penshoppe for Php12.50 [yep, that cheap] and placed it at the center of my upholstery cloth.
Now, what shall I do with the wall? Hmmm….
