I seldom engage myself in outdoor photoshoots. Though I have my face photos taken from time to time and get them posted online. It is hard to muster sufficient courage to flaunt myself outdoors. Nevertheless, after several months of convincing from photographer-enthusiasts, I decided to get myself in front of the lens.
Posing was awkward. The photographer demonstrated the poses, and I mimicked afterward. He trotted out several of those before taking a snap of his camera and flooding the background with lights. My initial poses were stiff and unpolished. I got the hang of it some time nevertheless.
As what photographers say: “Strike a pose!”
