For the past couple of weeks, Philippine President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo has been reported to be going after meeting US President Barack Obama. As reported by Joyce Panares on the Manila Standard Today, Arroyo intended to “to clinch the pull-aside meeting with Obama” for the event but that never happened.
However, Youtube Pinay sensation Charice Pempengco, whose presence at Oprah and Ellen DeGeneres Show brought the girl international fame, became part if the official program for Obama’s inaugural.
Maybe Arroyo should sing a different tune.
